The remainder is re-invested into the development project to keep the program operational. THOAW supports the skills development program at eKhaya eKasi Art & Education Centre where thoawSA is located. The official thoawSA beaded bracelet was produced by the crafts program. THOAW has purchased other products such as the shwe shwe heart ornaments, bead and wire crafts and other beaded products to give as ‘perks’ for donations and/or to raise funds. Each of these products were handmade by a woman in Khayelitsha, South Africa.
